FrontPage Server Extensions
The FrontPage Server Extensions give you the server-side functionality required to make certain aspects of sites designed using Microsoft FrontPage work properly.
If you are just using FrontPage as an HTML editor you do not need FrontPage Server Extensions for your site to work, however, if you are using special FrontPage Components such as feedback forms, then you will need FrontPage Server Extensions installed on your web hosting plan.
FrontPage Server Extensions also enable HTTP publishing, which replaces FTP Publishing. HTTP Publishing using FrontPage is much faster than FTP Publishing with FrontPage and is required if FrontPage Server Extensions are installed.
The Installation of FrontPage Server Extensions are included with Business & Advanced Hosting Plans, but is an optional extra with Reseller Hosting and Standard Hosting Customers costing 40.00 Euros per installation.
